Spa Etiquette & Policies

Spa Voices
Please be considerate of your neighbors at the spa, and try to keep the volume down, even if you are part of a group or special celebration. As much as we love it that you are having a great time, our other spa guests may be seeking peace and quiet. Sound carries, so we ask that you use your “spa voice”.
Health Concerns
Guests with medical conditions are advised to consult their doctors prior to booking any spa services. Kindly inform your spa technician of any existing medical conditions by completing a Guest Check-In form prior to receiving your treatments. Touch to Heal Spa reserves the right to discontinue a service for any reason to ensure the safety of all parties.
Cancellation & Late Policies
If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please call us at (408) 379-1577. We have reserved your appointment especially for you and we would appreciate your understanding of our therapists time. Should you need to cancel in less than 24 hours (48 hours for spa packages and couples experiences and 5 days for groups and parties), we will make every effort to fill your appointment slot. If we are unable, you will be subject to a 50% service fee.

We encourage you to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to allow for a leisurely check-in and consultation. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals. However, a late arrival may require a reduced appointment time, at scheduled price, with respect to the guests that are scheduled for you. Of course beyond the check in policies, we invite all our guests to make full use of our relaxing environment here at Touch to Heal Spa. Come early, stay late, bring a book, enjoy our coloring books and complimentary snacks and beverages in our relaxation lounge.

Gratuity

Our staff works hard to help you achieve a higher state of peace and happiness. While gratuity is optional and at your discretion, it is kindly accepted. Envelopes are provided at the spa front desk at checkout or gratuities may be added to your credit card charge.

Payment

As payment for spa services or retail, we currently accept credit cards, FSA and HSA cards, exact cash and Touch to Heal Spa gift cards. 

For spa parties, company events, and groups of 3 or more guests, we require full amount five days prior to the event.

Our treatments, spa packages, gift certificates and spa parties are non refundable. However, we will honor an equal exchange (credit) for other services.

Spa packages and monthly specials are discounted. They cannot be combined with any other discounts or promotions.

Effective March 1, 2024, we are no longer accepting SpaFinder gift cards. 

Touch to Heal reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or raise prices on certain treatments without prior notification to ensure that maximum standards of service and quality are met. If you have any questions, please ask your reservationist. 

Talking During a Treatment
Please communicate with your treatment provider regarding table temperature, music volume and pressure technique to ensure your overall comfort. To enjoy the maximum benefit of your massage our therapists will keep conversation to a minimum. You are welcomed to breathe deeply and fully relax during your treatment. Always feel free to provide feedback about the pressure level, areas of special attention and anything else you deem necessary to make your treatment blissful.  Very often, as the body releases tension during a spa treatment, the mind will release emotion. If you suddenly feel sad, angry, or joyful, do not be alarmed. Allow yourself to express these feelings by crying or laughing. At the very least, feel free to sigh with relaxation or hum with pleasure. Many people fall asleep during a treatment, an indication that the body and mind are releasing stress and tension. The practitioner will gently wake you if you need to move or it is time to end the treatment.

Personal Belongings
We recommend that you arrive at the spa without jewelry. Touch to Heal Spa accepts no responsibility for the loss of valuables brought onto the spa premises.

Dress Code
During your treatment, you can undress fully or wear undergarments or shorts, depending on what makes you feel most comfortable. For our guests enjoying multiple services, we will provide you with a spa robe and slippers.

Beverages and Snacks
You are welcome to bring in wine or champagne (two drinks maximum per guest) or lite snacks with previous notification. 
Minimum Age Requirements
Guests ages 13 – 17 can enjoy facials, waxing (not including bikini area), massages and makeup with a signed Minor Consent Form from a parent or guardian. Guest ages 13 – 15 must have a parent or guardian in the treatment room during the entire service. Guests ages 16 – 17 must have a parent or guardian on premises during the entire service, and must have therapists of the same gender.
Gift Cards
Gift Cards are non-refundable, but can be redeemed for merchandise.
Enjoy
Our goal is to make your experience as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Your provider is more than willing to listen to your feedback. The management is always open to the guests’ thoughts. If necessary, concerns will be taken care of immediately.
